Tracking the sun, but note the tracking jumping rather than following the sun smoothly. This is a 60-second video speeded up 4x to show the issue. This 'jumping' only happens when the DWarf is turned to the left of centre. Right of centre and the tracking is good.

Starlink Broadband in Rural Shropshire. Having lived at this address for just under 30 years, I've always suffered from poor internet speed, both with adsl dial-up (if you are old enough to remember that), and latterly Broadband. QRM Eliminator from eBay

The secondary antenna is a length of insulated wire about 10m long run around the inside of the shack and up against three walls. The QRM Eli...

      @@maximusg88 11 miles from the county town, 8 miles from the local market town, 2 miles from the fibre enabled exchange. So not exactly rural, but BT Openreach can’t be bothered to invest in the infrastructure. Lots of properties around here having to use Airwaves WiFi or Starlink.

      Primarily it's GPS with an associated RTK station, but it does also have a stereo vision system and as a last resort a bumper that will react if it contacts an object. Take a look at the Mammotion website or Google for Luba 2 here on UA-cam.

    I saw this aircraft go in. It wasn't an engine problem, at least not primarily. Definitely a control issue, that looked like the two airmen were fighting each other in the air. It stalled three times, in all. By the third stall, I knew it was over. Too low to have any hope. I remember a very spooky event, before the machine got airborne: as it taxied past the spectators, pilot smiling and waving, the airman in the rear seat was unsmiling, grim and grey, his face seemed like a skull, something dead. I had the feeling something was very wrong here. A terrible day, and like the other commenters, I hope never to see anything like that again. In fact, I've never since attended another airshow.

      Miles per hour or kilometres per hour. In mph it’s roughly 1000 rpm per 10 mph in top gear, so at your 5000 rpm than would be 50 mph for me. At 7000 I’m doing about 70 mph in 6th gear.

    We are near bridgnorth, local exchange is only a couple of miles away and we get 3mb down and 1mb up. I've had to resort to bonding two 4g external aerials to get 20 down and 15 up. No other service available so we are getting starlink at the end of the month. Have you noticed many "dropouts" occur? Incidentally I recently returned from a remote trek in Nepal and they had 40mb down and up. Better by far than here!

    The newer models from 2022 i think have a gear indicator. I don't think it's abs. necessary to have one, and you can get used to anything given time, same with a rev counter, but IMHO and given the choice i would rather have these things than not

    • @letni9506
      @letni9506 Рік тому

      It's usually better to have something that not but really the revs tell you if you need to change gear. If the bikes pulling ok I don't know if it matters which gear you're in. I suppose you might forget you are already in 6th if it's revving high but by then you will be going way too fast 😄 All you probably need is a neutral light really

      Sean, thanks for the comments. I'm 5ft 8ins or thereabouts and my inside leg is 29ins. The CB300R is really light at 145Kg if I remember correctly so I don't think you would have any problems. My R1200GS had a slightly higher (low) seat and I was on the balls of my feet - and it was REALLY heavy. I think the CB125R is the same frame size and seat height, so if you can find one on those to sit on, that might give you an idea, although obviously the 125 would be lighter too.

    Thanks for uploading this. Quite a few other reviews are positive all the time, probably because Honda is loaning the bikes to people doing the reviews, and they'd stop loaning them if they were negative. Albeit this isn't a negative review, but at least it's pointing out a flaw. I'd still choose the CB300R though, very light, good handling, good fuel economy, Honda's reliability record, and it's a very good looking bike, I think it beats it's competition for looks.

      HI there, thanks for the comment. I'm 5ft 8 ins tall with correspondingly long arms and legs. I find the seating position pretty much perfect and don't get aching wrists like I did on my Yamaha 600 Thundercat that had low bars. Also, once you are moving, the wind further reduces the load on your wrists. The seat is quite firm and after about an hour I'm ready to get off for a bit. I haven't looked at after market seats as I'm not doing great mileages. I'm a bit of a fair weather rider so I haven't been out as much as I should, but I'm going to make more effort in 2023! There aren't too many CB300R's around, as it's a bit of an 'in-between' size. New riders will probably go for 125's and when they upgrade the licence will tend to go for something bigger. It's perfect for me, it's almost the 250cc bike I didn't get when I was a teenager :) (I had a lovely Yamaha RD125 two-stroke twin that went like a rocket).

    I live in Thailand and just bought a new Honda CB300R. 300cc is considered a big bike in Thailand as most common is Honda Wave 110cc. In my opinion the Honda CB300R is well underrated and is great in Bangkok City because of it is narrow, short wheel base, and upright forks makes it great for filtering around congested Bangkok roads.

      @RuytonXI Рік тому

      Hi Paul, I'm SY4 too, about half way between Shrewsbury and Oswestry and checking back the last couple of weeks or so, my maximum download was 268 mbs minimum 40mbs (doesn't get this low very often) and mostly between 100 and 200 mbs. Tested just now and it's 228 down and 13 up. Other than a very unusual period of about 3 hours the other morning, the longest it had been off was about 16 seconds. It does fluctuate as you might expect but no more buffering watching Sky catchup and my uploads to UA-cam are significantly faster. I'm very happy, the monthly sub had dropped from £89 to £75 recently and the initial kit purchase price has dropped too. I have kept my BT Broadband as it's part of a package and nothing to be saved really by not having it. Most of the time the BT router is switched off :)
